Tara Minton is an award-winning Australian jazz harpist, vocalist and composer whose distinctive artistry has earned international acclaim. Based in London since 2011, she has built a reputation for combining virtuosic harp playing with expressive vocals, creating a sound that draws on jazz, folk and contemporary influences. A graduate of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Tara has performed across Europe, Australia and beyond, and has played with as diverse a list of artists as Björk, ESKA, Stan Sulzmann, Geoff Gascoyne, Emma Rawicz, Alice Zawadzki, Faris Ishaq, Ronnie Scott's All Stars, Opera North, The Royal Ballet and the Australian World Orchestra. Her acclaimed albums, including The Tides of Love and Please Do Not Ignore the Mermaid, showcase her gift for storytelling, composition and genre-defying musical expression.
